SSC CGL 2025 :

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) officially released the SSC CGL 2025 notification on 9 June 2025, opening the online application window for thousands of government positions across Grade B and C roles. With 14,582 vacancies, this exam offers a solid chance for graduates looking to build a career in central government departments. 

Important Dates:

Notification Released: 9 June 2025 

Registration Begins: 9 June 2025, through the official SSC portal 

Last Date to Apply: 4 July 2025 

Correction Window: Around 9–11 July 2025 

Tier-I Exam: 13–30 August 2025 

Tier-II Exam: Expected in October–December 2025 

Vacancy & Eligibility:

Total Vacancies: 14,582, covering roles like Assistants, Inspectors, Accountants, Statistical Officers and more 

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree required from a recognized university; final-year students may apply provisionally 

Age Limits: Vary by post (typically 18–32 years), with relaxations for reserved categories 

Application Fee & Process

Fee: ₹100 for General/OBC candidates; SC/ST/Female/PwBD/Ex-servicemen are exempt 

How to Apply:

1. Visit ssc.gov.in

2. Register via One-Time Registration (OTR)

3. Fill the SSC CGL 2025 form

4. Upload required documents (photo, signature, graduation certificate)

5. Pay the fee and submit

6. Note down the confirmation slip and download your admit card when released

Exam Pattern & Syllabus:

Tier-I (Screening): 100 questions, 200 marks, 60 minutes, covering General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension, and General Awareness 

Tier-II (Descriptive & Advanced Topics): Includes Quantitative Abilities, English Language & Comprehension, and Optional Papers (Statistics or GK based on post)

Topics range from algebra, geometry, data analysis to comprehension, grammar, and current affairs—all detailed in the official PDF notification  .

Salary & Posts:

Selected candidates may serve as:

Assistant Section Officer, Income Tax Inspector, Auditor, Junior Statistical Officer, Tax Assistant, among others 

Pay Levels include Level 4 to Level 7, with salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹78,800 plus allowances and perks
