Eligibility & Age:

Who Can Apply for SSC CHSL 2025:

Education: Class 12 pass or equivalent.

For DEO/DEO Grade A posts: 12th with Maths or Science  .

Age Limit: 18–27 years (as of a specified date), with relaxations for SC/ST, OBC, PwD  .

Exam Pattern:

Tier‑1 & Tier‑2 Format Explained

Tier‑1 (CBT - 60 mins):

Total: 100 questions, 200 marks (2 marks each)

Sections: General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English (25 Q each) 

Negative marking: – 0.5 per wrong answer 

Tier‑2 (Descriptive + Skill):

Tier‑2 A: Written skill, English comprehension & typewriting/skill test

Tier‑2 B: Typing speed test for LDC/JSA & DEO posts 

Vacancies & Timeline:

Expected SSC CHSL 2025 Vacancies & Dates

Vacancies: 4,000–5,000 expected, similar to previous years  .

Key Dates:

Notification: 23 June 2025

Apply: 23 June–18 July 2025
